x-embassy is a collectively run off-space located on the first floor of the former Australian embassy of the German Democratic Republic. x-embassy hosts a series of public events involving multiple formats, from video screenings, performances and artist talks to mini-exhibitions and workshops. An emphasis is placed on trans-disciplinary, experimental modes of collective production, which often move beyond the framework of the static exhibition into participatory, performative, socially engaged and dialogue-based formats.
