LAGE EGAL is a non-commercial project space co-founded and run by Berlin-based French artist Pierre Granoux. Since 2010, LAGE EGAL exists as an artist’s studio as well as a place to experiment with different forms of display and in close collaboration with artists and guest curators.
LAGE EGAL translates from German to “location no matter”, and it definitely doesn’t: it is all about the quality of the artwork and the idea behind it. LAGE EGAL can be read identically in both directions, making it a perfect name for the space. Granoux also organizes off-site exhibitions in different locations, private and public spaces, in Berlin or anywhere else.
