In the light of a small shadow theater the scenarios of transit, smuggling and migration from Greece, Turkey and Germany refract. Birgit Auf der Lauer and Caspar Pauli present the model of a large installation.
The multiple exposure on the projection of the model follows these thoughts:
The shadow economy of border infrastructures enable movements of hundreds of thousands.
The Lucky Luke syndrome: The medial shadows of migrants rush ahead of them and turn them to mythological archetypes.
Or: shadows cast humans and they become people with a face and a history.
